Apartment on Petrogradskaya Side

Area: 90 m2
Saint-Petersburg, Petrogradskaya Side, 2019

Artistically, the apartment's image combines a reinterpretation of classic St. Petersburg elements with a democratic aesthetics of neighboring Scandinavia. The first direction is paneled transoms and built-in wardrobe that are often found in old apartments, as well as classical herringbone parquet, mysterious hall / corridor with graphite walls and metlakh black-and-white tiles. The second direction is, on the contrary, light walls and bright color accents. The combination of these two stories creates the narrative of the old apartment's habitation by modern owners.
